Il est un temps où le détail compte bien plus, à force de ne pouvoir percevoir globalement, en tout cas plus largement, sans doute de par cette incertitude tant spatiale que temporelle qui s’amplifie jour après jour. Aussi, il s’agit ici de racler l’indicible, l’inaperçu, au gré des lieux croisés au travers d’images en noir et blanc pour marquer cette intemporalité qui convient à ces instants a priori sans importance, a priori seulement. Il n’y a pas de temporalité, un lieu certes, quoique, il importe peu. L’impact du temps importe ici au plus haut point dans le désordre qu’il a produit ou qu’il produira à terme. Même si ce qui devait arriver n’a pas encore pris forme, il va y avoir une suite, c’est indéniable et pressenti dans chaque image. Maintenant, demain, un jour, le temps va poursuivre son oeuvre entamée.
There’s a time when detail matters much more, since we aren’t able to look at the bigger picture, arguably because of the uncertainty regarding space and time that is growing more and more every day. The matter here is also to sense what’s hard to express and hidden by showing diverse places in black and white pictures, which emphasizes the timelessness of these moments that seem meaningless, which they aren’t actually. There isn’t any sense of time, there sure is a place, but it doesn’t really matter. The impact of time, the mess it caused and will keep on causing, is our main focus here. Eventhough what was said to happen didn’t do so yet, it is going to come, it is undeniable and you can feel it in every picture. Now, tomorrow, one day, time will go on with its begun work.
